We have some very good news. The long-awaited Oregon state re-certification papers finally came in, which allow us to resume our regular Best Bingo game activities. Our Best Bingo games will re-start on Friday July 10 and continue every Friday for the rest of the month. 

On Saturday July 25 we will host a Christmas in July Crafts Fair. Crafts people interested in attending the crafts fair as sellers should call  our director Adeline to reserve a table.

Our kitchen staff has now been significantly boosted and empowered by the hiring of a professional cook, Chef Phillip. On very short notice we scheduled a luncheon for June 29 to welcome and introduce Chef Phillip. The free luncheon drew a very large crowd of seniors from our community.

We will be keeping Chef Phillip very busy throughout the month of July. He will be preparing and serving lunches and dinners on 17 different days this month. This will include 12 FREE luncheons, and also four FREE dinners on bingo nights. To make it easier for folks to plan their visits to the senior center to partake in the free lunch and dinner program this month, we have included in our July activities calendar the dates, times, and even the meal descriptions for all lunches and dinners that will be served. The calendar is posted on the Calendar page of this website. You can also pick up a free printed copy of the calendar at the senior center.

Ocean Ridge Senior Living retirement community will be hosting the free luncheon on Monday July 27, 2026 here at the North Bend Senior Center . There will be lots of seating and plenty of food to serve a big crowd. It will be first come first serve, so arrive early and pick up a free July activities calendar while you are here.

The Board of Directors holds its monthly meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the conference room. To attend the meeting as a guest, call the office during normal business hours to reserve a seat because space is limited in the meeting room.

The senior center's website is evolving. We are adding useful and interesting information and photos to the website on a regular basis. We're posting event flyers on the Coming Events page, and we're posting volunteering opportunities on the Opportunities to Help page.
