The month of August was a banner month here at the North Bend Senior Center. We initiated a free hot lunch program that ran four days a week for the whole month, and we served 516 free hot meals to seniors age 60 and over. We also ran our Friday night bingo games every Friday for the second month in a row. All of our events and regular activities are drawing large numbers of attendees and we are excited to see the community's positive response to our efforts to provide activities for our senior citizens.

In September we are continuing the free hot lunch program Monday through Thursday four days a week for seniors age 60 and over. We are also serving a $5 hot meal every Friday preceding the bingo games. All of our other regular activities continue as usual.

Ocean Ridge Senior Living retirement community will be catering a free gourmet hot luncheon on Monday September 28, 2026 here at the North Bend Senior Center. There will be lots of seating and plenty of food to serve a big crowd. It will be first come first serve, so arrive early and don't miss out.

The Board of Directors holds its monthly meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the conference room at the North Bend Senior Center. To attend the meeting as a guest, call the office during normal business hours to reserve a seat because space is limited in the meeting room.
